I have been involved in architecture : designing it / building it / managing it / for both residential and commercial projects for more than 20 years. This path has taken me to a broad range of places, each with very specific needs : existing homes in need of inspiration or room to grow, empty retail spaces in need of an unordinary shopping experience, illegal construction wanting representation, fallow earth in need of landscape or a building. I have worked in corporations, small offices, and now currently have my own practice. And the further down the path I go, I am happy to report that some things remain true : design begins by understanding the opportunities and limitations of a site. Managed several design teams, including schedules, staffing, and specialty consultant coordination. Prepared and delivered monthly earnings statements to senior management, including budget projections and strategies to meet cost considerations.
